Client. D.B. charged with First Degree Murder. Client was facing the death penalty or life in prison. The DA elected to pursue a life in prison sentence. Jury trial commenced. The jury returned a verdict of Not Guilty.

Client D.D. charged with Attempted Rape of a Juvenile, 2 counts of Oral Sexual Battery on a Juvenile, Sexual Battery on a Juvenile, 2 counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile. Client was facing over 150 years in prison. Jury trial commenced and returned a verdict of Not Guilty of all charges except the two lessor charges of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile. Client appealed the verdict of the two lessor guilty charges. The charges were overturned by an Appellate Court.

Client D.T. charged with Second Degree Murder. Client was facing a penalty of life in prison. Attorney K. Willis aggressively cross-examined the State’s lead investigating officer during a Preliminary Examination hearing. DA dismissed the case.

Client K.T. was charged with armed robbery facing up to 99 years in prison. Attorney K. Willis aggressively cross-examined the State’s lead investigating officer during a Preliminary Examination hearing. DA dismissed the case.

Client L.J charged with Second Degree Kidnapping and Sexual Battery. Jury trial commenced. Jury returned a verdict of not guilty on both charges.

Client T. S. falsely accused of raping his wife. Attorney K. Willis aggressively cross-examined the State’s lead investigating officer during a Preliminary Examination hearing. DA dismissed the case.

Client L. R. charged with Attempted Murder. Attorney K. Willis aggressively cross-examined the State’s lead investigating officer during a Preliminary Examination hearing. DA dismissed the case.

Client K. H. charged with Second Degree Battery. Trial commenced, Attorney K. Willis participated in Jury Selection with the State’s prosecutor. DA dismissed the case.

Client J. B. charged with Distribution of Hydrocodone. Trial commenced, Attorney K. Willis participated in Jury Selection with the State’s prosecutor. DA dismissed the case.

Client charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. Attorney K. Willis filed a Motion to Suppress Evidence on the grounds of illegal search of home. Court granted the Motion to Suppress. DA dismissed the case.

Client J.P. charged with Distribution of Marijuana. Attorney Willis filed a Motion to Suppress to Evidence on the grounds of illegal stop and search of client. Court granted the Motion to Suppress. DA dismissed the case.

Client N.P. charged with Possession of Cocaine. Attorney Willis filed a Motion to Suppress to Evidence on the grounds of illegal detention and search of client. Court granted the Motion to Suppress. DA dismissed case.

Client C.W. charged with DWI. Attorney Willis filed a Motion to Suppress on the grounds of illegal stop of client in violation to clients 4th Amendment rights. Court granted Motion to Suppress. City Attorney dismissed case.
